Course 1 : The different research professions (Les différents métiers de la recherche)

3 interviews to conduct with research stakeholders

Deliverables : 

• Interview with a researcher or a university lecturer (Reference Liv.2 GPB – D.2.1 GF)
• Interview with a technician or engineer (Reference D.2.2 GF)
• Interview with a head of research unit or research team (Reference D.2.3 GF)

Please note that the deliverables have to be uploaded in the Research Discovery module (with PhD student interview)

Course 2 : Choice of research topic (Choix de la thématique de recherche)

1 report summarizing the state of the art of a PhD thesis manuscript of interest
1 report indicating the choice of the preferred area of research (indicating motivation, name of tutor, laboratory teams involed and a first description of objectives)

Deliverables : 

• State of the art based on a PhD thesis    (Reference: Liv. 4 GPB  - D.2.4 GF)
• Report on the choice of the preferred area of research (Reference D.2.5 GF)
